Showcase Sunday (#29)

Showcase Sunday is a weekly meme hosted by Vicki at Books, Biscuits and Tea. Its aim is to showcase our newest books or book related swag and to see what everyone else received for review, borrowed from libraries, bought in bookshops and downloaded onto eReaders this week.

I know it's Saturday but...it's almost Sunday! (And, okay, I'll admit it: I didn't have another post scheduled for today. Oops!)

Blog Update:
Over the next few days I will be wrapping up the last of my college applications and then - hopefully! - relaxing for the first time in...I don't know how long. As such, I won't be posting as regularly. In fact, after another review (going up on Monday...), I will most likely be disappearing into my bed to sleep...and sleep...and sleep. ;) But I hope you all have an absolutely wonderful holiday season and a very happy new year filled with lots of reading and even more books! :D

  1. Lovely books in this haul, Keertana. I hope you enjoy them all. Also, enjoy your break because I'm sure the next semester is going to be just as demanding if not more.

  2. So many pretty books this time around, Keertana! I actually obtained a lot of the same review books as you this week. I'm especially excited for WE WERE LIARS, THE HERE AND NOW, and AND WE STAY. I'm looking forward to your reviews, happy reading! <3

  3. AHH SO MANY AWESOME BOOKS!! :D It seems like you're going to have an awesome winter break filled with some equally amazing books. ;) I'm so happy that you're about done with your college apps- YAY!- and I'm sure you'll get into your top choice no problem. ;)

Anyways, I had no idea that Ann Brashares had a new book coming out!! I'm off to check that one out. ;) Also, And We Stay looks really intriguing, although I haven't heard of that one before. Roomies, on the other hand, I've heard is really good! I'm actually just started Revelations today, and it's a bit more meh than I remember the first book being, but I'm going to keep with it. Hopefully it gets better soon! I've actually read When the Sea is Rising Red, but unfortunately, didn't like that one at all. =P I hope that you have better luck!!

Lovely haul, Keertana, and I hope that you truly get to kick back and relax. I totally know about not having any time to relax, and I'm planning to spend this winter break just kicking back with a stack of books. =)

  6. Yay for getting a copy of Roomies Keertana, as you know I loved that book, so I really hope you end up loving it too. I was so excited when I got copies of We Were Liars, I've only heard amazing things, and I think I saw it on your highly anticipated books for next year, so I look forward to hearing your thoughts. I hope you enjoy your break Keertana, you totally deserve it! :)

    1. Thanks Jasprit! I was surprised when I got approved for We Were Liars, only because Random House usually hates me. ;) And I'm really enjoying Roomies! I'm hoping to have it finished soon so I can share my thoughts before its release this Tuesday!

  7. I was approved for We Were Liars and And We Stay as well! I can't wait to read We Were Liars, and I've already read And We Stay. It was okay for me, nothing fantastic but still a good book.

So glad to see Cracked on here! To this day it is still one of my favorite books I've ever received through NG - the humor is amazing.

  9. Awesome haul, Keertana! I'm especially interested in your thoughts about: Prisoner of Night and Fog, Don't You Forget About Me, and We Were Liars. I also can't wait to read your review on Roomies, but I just won a copy of that, thanks to Lauren! :) So, I'll have to wait a bit before reading. Anyway, enjoy ALL of the books! You deserve the break, and don't fret about the college apps, you'll be going to one of the colleges of your choice no matter what! No doubt about it! :)
