Showcase Sunday is a weekly meme hosted by Vicki at Books, Biscuits and Tea. Its aim is to showcase our newest books or book related swag and to see what everyone else received for review, borrowed from libraries, bought in bookshops and downloaded onto eReaders this week.

Not only is this one of my favorite trilogies, but it's one of the best. I'm struggling to write a review for this book but just know that is was very, very good.

I don't make my love for Patty Briggs a secret - Mercy Thompson is easily my favorite UF Series out there - so when I saw the audiobooks for another one of her books, I snatched it up. On the other hand, I'm not sure if I can handle listening to a book about serial killers with Game, but I have it on hand if I'm feeling brave enough to try.
Phew, that's my haul for the past month or so. As you can see, I'm drowning in ARCs (which is actually better for you since I'm also giving them away!). Don't forget to enter to win a gothic romance bundle and while you're here, stop by to check out Rosamund Hodge's guest post concerning bad boys in literature, particularly in her debut, Cruel Beauty.
And link me up to your posts - I love hauls! :)
Eep! Half Bad looks really good! I hope it doesn't disappoint.
ReplyDeleteHappy reading, Keertana! <33
Yay for Briggs, I have been going through her backlist and have 3 left :)
ReplyDeleteWoooo! Brilliant haul :D I hope you enjoy all of these awesome books!
ReplyDeleteMy Showcase Sunday :)
I can't wait to read What I Thought Was True and Plus One, they both have such stunning covers and I have a feeling they'll both be books that I will love. I'm also super excited to read High & Dry, let me know if you're up for a read-along. Happy reading Keertana!
ReplyDeleteGreat bunch of books. Going to have to check out a few new authors. Half Bad has an interesting cover and haven't read the author before. More for my TBR:)
ReplyDeleteLaura, Half-Bad is a debut novel which is why you haven't heard of the author before. It does have a gorgeous cover though - gender neutral, which I love. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat I Thought Was True sounds so amazing! It's one of my most anticipated upcoming releases. Sekret also sounds great. I hope you enjoy all of your books :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVED Jenn Bennett's Bitter Spirits so I'd love to try some of her other books. Can't wait to see what you think of this one. The audio of I Hunt Killers was really good even though the story freaked me the heck out, and I love horror! If it's the same narrator I think you'll enjoy it. I'm also anxious to see what you think of the new Ilona Andrews. I didn't read the last Magic book, but that's disappointing to hear you didn't like it. Enjoy your reads, Keertana! :)
ReplyDeleteRachel, I adored Bennett's Arcadia Bell Series! I finished the last book last night and the entire series is just so good. I know you'll definitely enjoy it. I'm glad you enjoyed the audio of I Hunt Killers! I think it's the same narrator, so I'm thrilled he has your seal of approval! :) And yes, I'm quite anxious to see if I'll like the new Ilona Andrews book too. I know a lot of readers loved Magic Rises - I was in the minority who wound up very disappointed - but hopefully Clean Sweep will wipe away that disappointment. *fingers crossed*
DeleteOh Half Bad! I want that one badly. You've got some amazing books and more or less I want to read them all. I need to read I Hunt Killers as it sounds like something I'd love. Great haul, Keertana :)
ReplyDeleteCannot wait to hear your thoughts on Half Bad, Sekret, High & Dry, Plus One, and What I Thought Was True, but everything here makes me want to know more! So really, I need to know your take on everything. :)
ReplyDeleteAwesome haul, K!
Oh, and just to let ya know, I read Ask the Passengers already! Remember I featured that one in my haul last weekend? Yup, I tackled it already. It was different but I did like! Expect more thoughts on that one soon. I wrote a few on GR already. :)

I was so excited when I saw on Goodreads that you were reading Plus One. I didn't expect you to love it as much as I did, but the fact that you still enjoyed it makes my heart so happy. And I'm so excited that it finally got a gorgeous cover to go with the story! Oh, and your love for What I Thought Was True...well, now I'm dying to get a copy of this book. And I was already pretty ecstatic over a new book from Huntley Fitpatrick after adoring My Life Next Door. :) Great haul...can't wait to read your thoughts on the other books!
ReplyDeleteWords can't even express how much I love that cover for Plus One - I've added it to my GR list and am counting down the days until it's released. Is it April yet??
ReplyDeleteSekret is SO good. And you got the new Huntley Fitzpatrick! Lucky:)
ReplyDeleteNice group of reads ahead of you! Briggs is one of my all time favorites as well but I've not read that one...yet.
ReplyDeleteLost Lake wasn't what I expected but good none the less. I'm finishing up my review...had to let it set for a little while before writing about it.
VERY jealous that you've read What I thought was true! I really liked SEKRET and PLUS ONE and I cannot wait to start HALF BAD. Great week of books.
ReplyDeleteOoh so many goodies! Can't wait to hear what you think of Half Bad and Plus One. I loved Sarah Skilton's last novel, so I'm curious about High & Dry. Glad to hear you loved What I Thought Was True, I'll have to check that one out. Happy reading! :-)
ReplyDeleteLoooots of pretty! I really, really loved Plus One. <3 And I hope you will too :) Happy reading sweetie :D
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for commenting on my blog a while ago. <3

Glad to see Burial Rites in your haul, Keertana! It's a lovely book and I hope you end up enjoying it as much as I did!
ReplyDeleteI really need to read Ryan's trilogy. I'll be interested to read your thoughts on the conclusion, but it's clear that it's worth the read. :)
I'm also interested in what you think of Sekret, Plus One, and Lost Lake - all have been on my tbr list.
Wonderful haul, dear!
