Showcase Sunday (#3)

Showcase Sunday is a weekly meme hosted by Vicki at Books, Biscuits and Tea. Its aim is to showcase our newest books or book related swag and to see what everyone else received for review, borrowed from libraries, bought in bookshops and downloaded onto eReaders this week.

Unfortunately, I haven't received too many new books this week. I've been saving up my money to buy some of the fabulous releases which are being published on July 10th, so I hope to have a larger haul next week!(: Nevertheless, I am excited about the books I got this week!

Bought:
Tiger Lily by Jodi Lynn Anderson

Borrowed:
pic name pic name pic name
Cinder by Marissa Meyer
Article 5 by Kristen Simmons
Looking for Alibrandi by Melina Marchetta
Unearthly by Cynthia Hand
Hallowed by Cynthia Hand

I know, I know, I must be the only person in the world who hasn't read Unearthly yet. I've been far too skeptical about it, so I'm curious to see what all the hype is about! ;) Happy Reading! :D

  4. I want to read Tiger Lily SO bad! I've heard nothing but gushing over it, I really need to see what it's all about. And Cinder is one that's been on my Wishlist for AGES! Unearthly sounds brilliant, as does the sequel. I love the colours on Looking for Alibrandi, they pop out so nicely.(:

    Happy reading, Keertana!

  6. What a coincidence, I bought Tiger Lily this week too. :) Doesn't it sound absolutely divine? And I ADORED the Unearthly series; say hello to Tucker for me and blow him a kiss, yeah? ;D I hope you enjoy Looking for Alibrandi, and even though it's the only MM book I haven't read yet, I've heard excellent things about it. Plus, it's Melina Marchetta. It HAS to be good!

    1. Thanks Nick! I've had a bad experience with angel books as well which is why I've put off Unearthly for so long. In fact, the only two angel books I've liked have been Daughter of Smoke and Bone and Angelfall, so you should give those a try!(:
