Showcase Sunday is a weekly meme hosted by Vicki at Books, Biscuits and Tea. Its aim is to showcase our newest books or book related swag and to see what everyone else received for review, borrowed from libraries, bought in bookshops and downloaded onto eReaders this week.
For Review:
After Ever by Jillian Eaton
Department of Magic by Rod Kierkegaard Jr.
Living Proof by Kira Peikoff
Bought:
Chasing Magic by Stacia Kane
Brides of Rollrock Island by Margo Lanagan
Fury by Shirley Marr
Borrowed:
Confusion of Princes by Garth Nix
Gone, Gone, Gone by Hannah Moskowitz
I don't have too many new books this week, but I'm hoping to pick up some more because of all the fabulous releases coming out in July! Happy July everyone!(:
I've heard great things about Gone Gone Gone and Fury. I look forward to reading those books myself! Great haul Keertana. I hope you enjoy your new books! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Sam! I've heard a lot about the two of them as well so I'm excited to see what all the hype is about! Plus, it took me forever to get my hands on Fury since it's an Aussie novel, so I'm glad to have finally obtained it!(:
DeleteAwesome haul, Keertana! <3 I think Fury has such gorgeous cover! I read nothing but good things about books by Shirley Marr, so I hope you'll enjoy Fury! Confusion of Princess sounds very interesting! Love the title. x)
ReplyDeleteHappy reading, Keertana! :)
Thanks Hilda! Both Confusion of Princes and Fury are Aussie novels so I'm excited to have gotten them! They're very hard to get in the U.S. so I can't wait to begin reading them! :D
DeleteLiving Proof and After Ever sounds really interesting. I've heard good things about Fury and Gone, Gone, Gone. Great haul Keertana! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Rachel! I'm curious to see what all the hype is about Fury and Gone, Gone, Gone as well!(: I managed to get a copy of After Ever from the author herself and Living Proof is centered around a very interesting topic so I can't wait to begin them! :D
DeleteI haven't heard of many of these books! I'm definitely going to have to check them out and add them to my TBR. =) Gone, Gone, Gone looks really great, and I've read some fabulous reviews about it!

DeleteOh wow, The Department of Magic and Living Proof sound awesome...thanks for the goodreads links, I hadn't heard of them before.
ReplyDeleteI need to get Gone, Gone, Gone. sounds amazing and I love a good LGBT novel.
-Lauren
I hadn't heard of them until recently either, but they definitely sound very good. I'm very curious about Gone, Gone, Gone as well - it's been receiving nothing but gushing reviews! Thanks for stopping by my blog Lauren!(:
DeleteWow, how have I not heard of ANY of these books? Chasing Magic looks good though!
ReplyDeleteNot many people have heard of these books Hazal, so don't feel bad! The ones I received for review were either self-published novels or adult books, the ones I bought were Australian novels, and even one of the books I borrowed was Australian and the other one is new, so they're not very well known. I'm very excited for Chasing Magic though - it's the fifth book in an excellent series so I can't wait to read it. Thanks for stopping by my blog Hazal! :D
