2015 Favorites (So Far)!

Whether I've just gotten pickier over the years or had less luck in 2015, I've only got six favorite novels to celebrate this half-year mark. I'm sure I'm going to come across plenty more in this second-half of 2015, seeing as many of my favorite authors are releasing their latest novels, but as of now, these are the six that have enchanted me, moved me, and made me think deeply and laugh heartily.

What have been some of your favorite reads in 2015? What have I missed (so far) this year and any recommendations? I definitely need some new authors to try out so don't hesitate to hit me up with all of your favorite books of the year up until now! :)

  1. I see 4 of my favorite reads on here, Keertana! I just finished reading When a Scot Ties the Knot yesterday and it was absolutely wonderful. I think you're going to adore it when you read it too since you loved Say Yes to the Marquess!
I hope you find more exciting reads later this year! :)

  2. I'm looking forward to reading some of these, Keertana. Especially The Wrath and the Dawn. I didn't quite enjoy The Start of Me and You, but I've also seen this book featured in best list among bloggers. Something tells me I completely missed the point. Lol.

    Thanks for the recommendation!

  4. I think everyone becomes more picky readers over time, but it's totally okay that you only have 6! I definitely don't have 10 yet. I'm glad I've read 3 out of your 6! I still really need to read UPROOTED and I definitely want to try some adult romance so I think I'll start with SAY YES TO THE MARQUESS! One of my favorites for this year includes SIMON VS. THE HOMO SAPIENS AGENDA. So, so good. Thanks for sharing your favs, Keertana! <3

  7. THE START OF ME AND YOU and SAY YES TO THE MARQUESS Keertana! I absolutely adored both of those as well:) I need to read everything else, especially Uprooted and the Red Rising series, I've read nothing but hugely positive reviews for both!!!

So far this year I've really loved This Heart of Mine (adult contemporary romance). I went into it not expecting much and I fell madly in love with the heroine. I just wanted to hug her the whole way through!

  8. I'm excited to see The Wrath and the Dawn on here, because I've been seeing some "meh" type of reviews lately. It sounds really interesting though, and I hope to read it soon! :)

  16. I haven't read The Start of Me and You, but I love that I could tell it was an Emery Lord book just based off the cover! I'm not surprised that I keep seeing Uprooted in everyone's favorites - it was so fantastic!

  17. I've only read one of these so far - I guess I have quite a few to add to my TBR list! I fully intend on reading The Wrath & the Dawn soon, and hopefully I'll find some time to get to Red Rising/Golden Son.
Nothing wrong with being picky about your first half reads, but you're totally right -there are tons of promising books coming out in the second half of this year. I hope you find many more to love before 2015 is over! :)

  18. Sorry for my late comment, Keertana! I’ve been absent from blogging world last month because of my “real life”, so I missed you new posts. Five of these books are on my tbr-list and I’m so glad to see it on your favorite-list. I’ve heard about Red Rising series, but I plan to read the series when all books are released. As for my 2015 favorites so far, they are all not new releases: If I Stay and Where She Went by Gayle Forman, One Plus One and The Girl You Left Behind by Jojo Moyes.
