Showcase Sunday (#1)


Showcase Sunday is a weekly meme hosted by Vicki at Books, Biscuits and Tea. Its aim is to showcase our newest books or book related swag and to see what everyone else received for review, borrowed from libraries, bought in bookshops and downloaded onto eReaders this week.

I don't have too many new books this week since I'm catching up on most of the new releases I haven't already read this year, but I'm excited about my small haul and can't wait to begin these fantastic titles! Plus, this is a nice change from the contemporary binge I've been on lately, so I'm eager to get back into some fantasy, paranormal, and dystopian reads! ;)

    You made SUCH an amazing choice buying Shadow and Bone and This is Not a Test -- they were both some of my top reads for the year! Shadow and Bone because everything about it read amazing, and This is Not a Test because Courtney Summers knows how to write realism to the best degree :) I've also heard a lot about Code Name Verity too.

      Thanks Mimi! I'm really enjoying Shadow and Bone so far and am really curious about This is Not a Test. It'll be my first Courtney Summers novel so I'm not quite sure what to expect, but I've been hearing some amazing things! :) Thank you once again Mimi and I'm so glad you stopped by my blog! :D

    Code Name Verity happens to be one of my favorite books ever! I'm so glad you got a copy. I also bought a copy of This Is NOt a Test, and I also got Shadow and Bone after reading Mimi Valentine's review. :)

      I'm very curious about Code Name Verity since I've been hearing some really amazing things about it lately! Plus, I loved The Winter Prince, another one of Elizabeth Wein's novels, so I can't wait to begin it. I'm really enjoying Shadow and Bone so far and can't wait to begin This is Not a Test as well!
