And your review has me thinking that I really need to do that soon cause I don't want to forget anything. I really love the family dynamics and I'm excited that it's just (or more) important in this book. I'm definitely getting this soon! I feel like I'm already missing out! The depth of this book sounds amazing- and I love how true and realistic this actually is. Also, the characterization sounds superb. I'm a big character person, and I love when we're able to actually see some development occur in a story. So, I think I'd fall in love with the characters in this book.

Fabulous review, Keertana! I'll have to check out Dairy Queen from my library when I swing by next. =)Aneeqahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13352395407424623520noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3523300192245025551.post-43292938979773154582013-02-05T17:52:19.987-05:002013-02-05T17:52:19.987-05:00I stopped reading when I realized this is the seco...I stopped reading when I realized this is the second in a series, but clearly I need to check it out ASAP! And that's coming from someone who isn't always drawn to contemporary books. I already really like the sound of the character interactions, especially the family dynamics. There's just something about realistic and heart-warming families in fiction that always affects me. I can't wait to dive into these books! Great review, lovely. :)Sam (Realm of Fiction)https://www.blogger.com/profile/04440380021875536125noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3523300192245025551.post-29489758890903731822013-02-05T04:18:50.899-05:002013-02-05T04:18:50.899-05:00Yes, yes, yes. I can't think of too many YA books (or adult books, really) that really make day-to-day farming life come alive in such a way. Listening to these books was like taking a trip there. And you're right that we got to know all the secondary characters more in this one. Truth be told, I totally teared up in my car while listening to part of this one. I love how this book leaves you like a rag doll afterwards after putting you through so much! I definitely think we need to write our letters to Ms. Murdock asking for our spin off series' with Curtis and Win! As I need more of the Schwenk family asap! :) Jasprithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11346050783201302967noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3523300192245025551.post-13369387529187201112013-02-04T17:24:21.734-05:002013-02-04T17:24:21.734-05:00This is a contemporary series that I am very willi...This is a contemporary series that I am very willing to give a chance and even excited about.

I know how much you and Jasprit love it and I cannot wait to get my hands on a copy.

I'm glad you could enjoy a sequel more and see the characters develop.

Awesome review, Tana!Livvyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17441931016080817720noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3523300192245025551.post-60810699098847942922013-02-04T17:05:27.708-05:002013-02-04T17:05:27.708-05:00Okay, I officially want to read this series. Murdock. I think you'll like the final book even more, Keertana, and that doesn't happen often. I really hope this woman will publish something else soon. She os truly unique.
On a completely unrelated note, YAAAAAAY, you're reading The Sky Is Everywhere!
