I have been eagerly anticipating The Boy Most Likely too, I've found myself in the mood more heavier books, so I have a good feeling about this book. I'm glad that you were able to enjoy it though despite having some issues. Great reviews Keertana! It was definitely an entertaining read, but the combination of genres just didn't work for me either.

And I agree about Conspiracy of Blood and Smoke. Gretchen has grown and matured so much since the first book, and it really shows.

Thanks for sharing these fabulous mini-reviews! ♥Zoe N.https://www.blogger.com/profile/08980248647201093593noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3523300192245025551.post-36970798042721531232015-10-02T21:10:22.092-04:002015-10-02T21:10:22.092-04:00sorry the first book did not live up to your expec...sorry the first book did not live up to your expectations sounds like also includes another bad case of parenting. I really need to start that one!

I also enjoyed "After the End". I wasn't sure I was going to like it but was surprised as you were by the twists. I need that next one too. :)Melissa (Books and Things)https://www.blogger.com/profile/00074452958853212024noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3523300192245025551.post-61377554438992396082015-10-02T08:45:21.921-04:002015-10-02T08:45:21.921-04:00Many of my friends mentioned that The Boy Most Lik...Many of my friends mentioned that The Boy Most Likely To was not at all what they expected it to be, not in a bad way, just different from their expectation. I guess it’s hard not to form any expectation when dealing with sequel. Somehow I just knew, that it wouldn’t be a light and breezy romantic comedy, it doesn’t suit Tim. I’m looking forward to read this book. The audiobook The Boy Most Likely To is narrated by one of my favorite narrator Jorjeana Marie, so I plan to listen to it.

I’m so glad I’ve read your review of After the End! I didn’t read it when it was released, because it was promote as dystopian, and lately I rarely enjoy books from this genre. But this “It started out dystopian, proceeded to be contemporary fiction, but truly ended with traces of paranormal and/or fantasy elements” gave me hope that I would enjoy it. I’ve heard a lot praises for the audio version of this series, so I’ll probably go for it.

Wonderful reviews as always, Keertana!
Kseniahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05362452522963234123noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3523300192245025551.post-62845846540288521502015-10-02T01:37:42.966-04:002015-10-02T01:37:42.966-04:00Hooray for mini-reviews! I'm glad you ended up really enjoying the characterization of Tim and Alice in THE BOY MOST LIKELY TO like I did. Fitzpatrick really does have a way with her characters! I still need to pick up Blankman's books; I feel like I would really enjoy them. As for AFTER THE END, it genuinely seems like a great story. The ending seems a little peculiar though, like Plum wasn't sure what she was going for herself? I might still pick it up though.

Thanks for your lovely mini-reviews, Keertana! I hope college is treating you well :)Jen (Books and Other Happy Ever Afters)https://www.blogger.com/profile/13191886477394054542noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3523300192245025551.post-51951162691085529752015-10-01T22:20:39.995-04:002015-10-01T22:20:39.995-04:00I've been really underwhelmed with the recepti...I've been really underwhelmed with the reception The Boy Most Likely To has been getting. It's why I haven't read my copy. Also need to read Conspiracy and After the End. Sigh. I need to catch up. Severely. But I really need to read this book sooner rather than later. Has the summer element that the UK just isn't having at the mo. I have this Amy Plum book to but again I still have read it. Donk. But I'm sort of intrigued by it as well. Great mini reviews, Keertana! Emmahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17409669758470666840noreply@blogger.com
